Hi All
The journey with the WRX is over. My lease was up and I took it back to the dealership and they processed my return fairly quickly, no questions asked.
I have not yet gotten another car, looking to see whats out there.
In the mean time, If anyone wants to post their stories about this car or wants to become a blogger in this blog to keep it going, please let me know

Samer, I want to thank you for your effort in maintaining this site. It was an invaluable source of information for me. My WRX, made in March 2009, is still up and running smoothly. If you want to lease I would suggest you take a look at the BMW. They try hard to dump the last 2011 3 series and they have amazing deals. Just make sure the insurance is reasonable for you. Hi Samer, this is indeed a heart-breaking story – but at least you do have a really good story to tell!
I guess you will not update the blog anymore – are you thinking about transferring it to somebody who will continue documenting the history of these awful… I mean, awfully fun machines?

Thanks for the note. I am not planning on updating it, I really dont have much to say, if someone wants to keep it up and blog about their experiences I am happy to give people login’s to it. I guess sooner or later I will eventually have to find something to do with it.

Hey Samer! I just read through this entire blog. Thanks for taking the time to write about your 2009 WRX. Sorry to hear you had so many troubles with it .. I love my 2005 Forester XT 5-speed, but it looks like I need to be weary on the 265 horse WRXes..

Hi Samer, I would be interested in making something more like a forum rather than just a blog, with the goal of sharing the collective wisdom (for example, I’m still debating with myself which canoe rack to get and wouldn’t mind hearing what other people say; other people might be more interested in which winter tires to get and could ask their questions too). I would definitely like it to be more or less car specific – rather than covering all Imprezas (a la NASIOC) as WRX is different in so many ways. Sounds like a good idea? — send me an e-mail.
