How hard are you driving the car?

The more abuse the more coolant will be burnt off/cause leaks due to too much pressure in the system.

These subarus aren't being bought by old farts who won't beat on them. The main consumer base is people ages 20-40 who can afford them and plan on using the power every now and then, thus increasing cause of them breaking down.

Look what happened with the SRT4, so many problems that they just ditched the car, esspecially when MOPAR stages were available via the dealer to increase performance.

I'm currently in the market for an 09 wrx, but the wrx 265 is almost impossible to find in my area and with 2010 looming, I might just get a 2010 and was wondering if subaru might smarten up and ditch the 224 hp engine for the 265 one, which the US has done.

I don't think this is normal. Can you see fluid on the ground underneath the car (other than condensation from the A/C ?)
